Training a team together changes that faster than training individuals, because the team agrees on one way of working and keeps each other using it. And when the course is built on your own files, people leave with the work already done — the report automated, the dashboard published — rather than with notes on how it could be.

The trainer travels, not your team
For teams in East Malaysia, in-house delivery means one person flies instead of your whole team. HRD Corp’s Allowable Cost Matrix allows airfare for external trainers from other towns to be claimed, alongside the course fee.
HRD Corp funding
Your levy is probably already paying for this
Employers with ten or more Malaysian employees pay 1% of monthly wages into the HRD Corp fund. In-house training is claimable up to RM10,500 per group per full day under the January 2026 Allowable Cost Matrix, where the provider and course are registered and the grant is applied for before the training.
Unutilised levy is forfeited after two years, down to a RM10,000 floor. A successful claim resets that clock, whatever its size.
